The first set of midweek fixtures sees games being played on every night except Thursday. On Monday Team Solent got their season up and running with a spirited draw against Lymington. Both goals came in the first half with Mike Gosney scoring for the visitors and Jesse Waller-Lassen replying for Solent. However the drama came with the last kick of the game as a Sam House disputed penalty rattled the bar and came back into play.

Tuesday saw a rare event with the programme headed by a Preliminary Round game in the Hampshire Senior Cup with Stoneham beating Whitchurch 3-1. Will Harris with two early goals and Sergio Caballero with a late penalty were Stoneham’s scorers whilst Nick Yeomans scored for Whitchurch on the stroke of half time.

In the Premier Division Sholing continue their impressive start to the season with a 3-1 away win at Alresford – Marvin McLean, Dan Mason & Lee Wort were the scorers. Newly promoted Tadley are also 100% with Brett Denham 2 & Cameron George providing the goals in their victory over Bemerton. The third 100% team after 2 games are Cowes who won 2-1 away at Fareham, John McKie & Ewan Cranwell scoring the goals.

The most impressive win of the night belonged to Horndean who thrashed Hamble Club 4-1. Zac Glasspool with 2 was amongst the scorers. Another double this time by Nathan Walker enabled Hamworthy to come from behind to beat Bashley. Also coming back to win 2-1 were Bournemouth against Portland with Ron Frost and Steve Flynn scoring for Poppies. In the remaining game honours were shared as Baffins twice came from behind to hold Portchester to a draw. Joe McLean scored the final goal in the last minute of normal time.

On Wednesday a Callum Sweeney goal failed to save any points for Andover New Street as visitors Shaftesbury gained maximum points with goals from Nathan Connolly and a penalty by Josh Williams.

Both teams in Friday‘s fixture were playing their first games of the season. Totton & Eling were the victors with goals by Rich Hater and Jack Taylor. Sanchez McLean scored a consolation goal for Follands.
