April 9, 2025

AFC Portchester have won the Velocity Wessex League Premier Division title following their 1-0 victory at Cowes Sports on Tuesday night.

The Royals still have plenty to play for to add to their League title in what could turn out to be a remarkable campaign, reaching the finals of the Hampshire Senior Cup, Velocity Wessex League Cup and Russell Cotes Cup, alongside the semi-finals of the Portsmouth Senior Cup.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, fellow promotion-chasers AFC Stoneham drew 0-0 at Hamble Club, while Fareham thumped Millbrook 5-1 at Test Park.

Both Stoneham and Fareham are guaranteed play-off places, with the remaining two up for grabs between FA Vase semi-finalists, Andover New Street; Hamworthy Recreation, Baffins Milton Rovers, Hamble Club and Millbrook.
