    The dates for the rounds of the FA Cup and FA Vase have been released by the Football Association.

    FA Cup – Extra Preliminary Round – Saturday 6th August, Preliminary Round – Saturday 20th August, 1st Qualifying Round – Saturday 3rd September, 2nd Qualifying Round – Saturday 17th September, 3rd Qualifying Round – Saturday 1st October, 4th Qualifying Round – Saturday 15th October, 1st Round – Saturday 5th November

    FA Vase – 1st Qualifying Round – Saturday 10th September, 2nd Qualifying Round – Saturday 24th September, 1st Round – Saturday 22nd October, 2nd Round – Saturday 12th November, 3rd Round – Saturday 3rd December, 4th Round – Saturday 7th January, 5th Round – Saturday 28th January, 6th Round – Saturday 18th February, Semi-Finals (two legs) – Saturday 11th & 18th March, Final – Saturday 21st May.

  • Club Allocation 2016/17

    The FA have confirmed the Club Allocation for the 2016/17 season.

    Five Clubs are joining the League next season, Bashley FC, relegated from the Southern Football League, Baffins Milton Rovers FC and Hamble Club FC, promoted from the Hampshire Premier Football League and Shaftesbury FC and Weymouth Reserves FC promoted from the Dorset Premier Football League.

  • Club of the Month

    Congratulations go to Sholing of the Premier Division and Amesbury Town of Division One who were named the Sydenhams Clubs of the Month for April. Both Clubs will receive their respective awards at the League’s Dinner & Dance this coming weekend.

  • Sydenhams Football League Cup

    A 65th minute strike by Toby Adekunie saw Team Solent lift the Sydenhams Football League Cup with a 1-0 win over Newport (IOW) at the Ray McEnhill Stadium, Salisbury this afternoon.

    The Man of the Match was awarded to Team Solent’s Sam Byles.

    Amesbury Town clinched promotion to the Premier Division last evening with a 3-1 home win over champions Portland United.

  • Division One title

    Portland United, with a 5-0 away win at Andover New Street today, clinched the Division One title at the first attempt following their promotion from the Dorset Premier Football League last season.

  • Premier Division title

    Following their 3 – 0 win over Horndean last night, Salisbury became the 2015 /2016 Sydenhams Football League Premier Division Champions meaning Southern League Football returning to the Ray McEnhill Stadium next season.
