The season opener involves Friday night football on the Waterside where Downton are the visitors to Fawley. Both clubs finished the well and Fawley just edged the same entertaining game last season.

On Saturday in the Premier Division, both promoted sides (AFC Stoneham & Amesbury Town) start the season with difficult home games against the teams that finished 4th and 5th in the Premier Division last season. Probably the pick of the games is Lymington’s visit to Horndean who were runners up last season. Fleet Town return to the League and start with a visit to Bashley in the New Forest.

In Division One relegated Bemerton will expect to open with 3 points against New Milton Town who struggled most of last season but the other relegated side, Andover New Street, have a togh task at home against United Services. Both of the sides that just missed out on promotion, Hythe & Dibden and Romsey, will hope for winning starts at home.
