DEANS ON THE BRINK
Horndean are on the brink of their first ever Wessex League title, after they defeated Baffins Milton Rovers at the PMC Stadium on Thursday night.
Prolific marksmen, Zack Willett and Connor Duffin gave Michael Birmingham's side all three points to leapfrog long-time leaders, AFC Portchester, with a game in hand on both them and AFC Stoneham, in third.
Horndean need just one more win from their final two - both at home - against Bemerton Heath Harlequins on Saturday, or Portland United next Tuesday to take the Premier Division crown.
